Evacuation continues from Kostyantynivka, about 5,000 civilians remain there – OVA

4,800 people remain in the city of Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, Dmytro Petlin, a representative of the Donetsk regional military administration, reported Ukrinform.

According to him, there are also people in the suburbs who have not yet had time to evacuate.

“There are currently 4,900 people left in the Kostyantynivka community itself, and almost the same number in the city of Kostyantynivka – 4,800 residents,” said Petlin, adding that volunteers can still enter Kostyantynivka in armored vehicles, so the civilian population can evacuate.

The day before, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, said that it is now impossible to bring humanitarian aid to Pokrovsk and Mirnograd. This is due to intense combat operations. More than a thousand people remain in each of these cities.

In recent days, Russian troops intensified their efforts to enter Pokrovsk in Donetsk region using light vehicles through the southern outskirts, the press service of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on November 11.

Meanwhile, as reported by the Defense Forces of the South, the Ukrainian military withdrew from their positions near the settlements of Novouspenivske, Nove, Okhotnyche, Uspenivka, Novomykolaivka in Zaporizhzhia.
