Zelenskyi began his answer by saying that “we have no other partners.”

“The strongest security guarantees we can get are from the USA. Of course, if they are not the “Budapest Memorandum”, not empty promises, but legally binding (legally binding – EP), voted in the US Congress. This is what we are talking about. They have a positive attitude towards such a movement so far,” said the president.

“And the European security guarantees are a ‘coalition of the determined’. In principle, they are already ready… Again, I would like to emphasize that the main thing is what the partners will be ready for in case of repeated Russian aggression. So far, I have not received an answer to this,” he said.

Before that, Zelenskyi reported the details his meetings with the leaders of Britain, France and Germany in London, which took place on the afternoon of December 8.

From London, the President of Ukraine went to Brussels, where today he is to meet with the Secretary General of NATO and the leadership of the EU.

In the Elysee Palace confirmedthat the central topics of the discussions between the leaders of Britain, France, Germany and Ukraine in London were Trump’s “peace plan”, as well as security guarantees for Ukraine.

Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz after the end of the negotiations assuredthat support for Ukraine “will not waver”.
