“We allocate 100 billion euros for Ukraine,” von Der Lyen said during a presentation of the draft budget.
She reminded that there was a Ukrainian Facility, which included 50 billion euros.
“These amounts are slowly but confidently diminishing, so we offer 100 billion euros to fill the fund again for Ukraine to support the restoration,” the European Commission President emphasized.
After the draft budget was published by the European Commission, the European Parliament and the European Council should express their position on it.
The long-term budget for 2028-2034 should be approved by the end of 2027.
