“Last week, there were an average of 170 combat clashes per day, which is slightly less than the previous week, when there were about 200. At the same time, the advance of the units of the Russian Federation at the beginning of this year was slower than in November and December last year,” he noted.
According to the head of the intelligence center of the Estonian Defense Forces, the main focus of the Russian Federation has not changed: the most active battles continued in the direction of Pokrovsk and Mirnograd, as well as in the direction of Zaporizhzhia and Gulyaipol.
“Russian units managed to advance in the northern part of the Kharkiv region, in the direction of Sloviansk, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk, as well as in the western part of the Zaporizhia region,” he said.
According to Kiviselg, over the past week, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have advanced in the Kupyan district.
It should be noted that last week he stated that Kiviselg Russia’s use of the Oreshnik ballistic missile in Western Ukraine is was the signal of the West.
He also noted that Ukraine increasingly successful conducts airstrikes against targets in Russia, and given the growing wear and tear of Russian air defenses, it can be predicted that strikes by Ukrainian drones and missiles will cause more and more damage to Russia.
