Turkish President also said he supports US President Donald Trump’s initiative to end the Russian-Ukrainian war.
“In principle, we congratulate Mr. Trump’s desire to finish the war through negotiations. But here it is impossible to neglect an important moment. The path to a fair and long peace can be opened only by means of an equation in which all the relevant parties are represented,” Erdogan emphasized.
Prehistory:
- Last week, Erdogan stated that Ankara continues to support Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity against the backdrop of talking about potential negotiations about “peace”.
