In early January, the implementation of one of the energy service (ESCO) contracts aimed at reducing consumption of energy resources began in the Brovar Lyceum # 3. This was reported by Brovarsky Mayor Igor Sapozhko, writes UNN.

The ESCO-Highway stipulates that the energy service company implements energy saving measures at its own expense, guaranteeing energy savings. The calculation with the company is carried out solely at the expense of saved funds and only if the promised savings are achieved.

The total cost of the project for Lyceum # 3, according to Igor Sapozhka, is 19 million 783 thousand UAH. Within the framework of the implementation of the contract, the modernization of the individual thermal point (ITP) has already been modernized, an automated heating management system and remote dispatching have been introduced.

“At the time of complex insulation of the Lyceum building. The attic has already been warmed, facade works have now begun. The contractors promise to finish the complete insulation of the facade by May this year,” Igor Sapozhko said.

Recall

According to the Brovarsky Mayor Igor Sapozhko, in 2024, seven new Esco-Turks were concluded in Brovary, covering both objects of education and communal infrastructure. Thanks to these measures, the community reduces budget expenditures and reduces CO2 emissions by moving to energy independence.

“Our community has the experience of implementing ESCO-Mechanism since 2019, when the first two energy service contracts for preschool educational institutions have been concluded. Thanks to the establishment of individual heat points, the expected level of heat savings was exceeded. This allowed to complete the contracts for the balance sheet. And to direct saved funds for the needs of establishments, ” – said Igor Sapozhko.

As the energy manager of the Department of Construction, Infrastructure and Transport of the Brovarsky City Council Andriy Dvornik in a comment reported UNNThree gas cogeneration installations are planning to launch in the city thanks to USAID support. In addition, the issue of signing new ESCOs is studied.

We will add

The Brovary community is a prime example of introducing energy efficient solutions. Here, the Utility Company “Brovaryteplovodoenergy” received a 260 kW cogeneration unit from the USAID. The equipment that will be installed on one of the objects of the enterprise will be a step towards improving the non -community of community. According to the mayor, it was planned to receive another such installation.

“This will greatly enhance the energy stability of our city and will allow to provide warmth and light not only to residents, but also to maintain critical infrastructure,” Igor Sapozhko said.

On some objects of the utility where possible, solar panels have already been installed or installed and the local authorities plan to develop this direction in the future.

In addition, in the Brovar community of Kyiv region, part of the boiler rooms, which provide heat with important social objects, work on alternative types of fuel. According to Igor Sapozhka, solar panels on the buildings of multidisciplinary and children’s hospitals of Brovary were installed thanks to cooperation with international partners.
