Added: Later, the Ministry of Energy explained that the reason for the introduction of restrictions was a missile-drone attack on energy facilities, severe frost and the consequences of bad weather in the Kyiv region.
“Preliminarily published schedules of blackouts in Kyiv and the region are currently not in effect. Energy workers are working around the clock to restore stable power supply as soon as possible,” the message says.
