Details: Currently, after counting about 95% of voting protocols, the action and solidarity (Partidul Acțiune și Solidaritate, PAS) has more than 47.5% of voters, and this figure continues to grow. The votes of the Diaspora, which voted longer than Moldova’s inhabitants, continues. Moldova’s citizens in European countries are a convincing majority of PAS.
In Moldova, the parliamentary election has a fairly high election barrier (5% for parties, 7% for blocks), so the votes for these political forces and those candidates who have not overcome the barrier are distributed between the winners. Due to this distribution, PAS has now guaranteed the receipt of 52 seats in the parliament of the new convocation. This amount can increase in case of significant increase in party.
101 deputies are elected to the Moldova Parliament, so PAS will have a single majority and will be able to form the government without unification with other parties.
The pro -Russian “patriotic block”, led by Expatable Igor Dodon, received less than 26% of the vote (percentage continues to fall) and will probably have 28 seats.
In third place – a block of an alternative with 9 seats (received less than 8.5%). The Parliament also passes the Prykhumun Party, which is accused of connections with the FSB, “Democracy at home”, and “our party” populist Renato Usaty, both are expected to have 6 seats.
It is also worth noting that now the number of votes received by PAS is higher than the amount of votes of all other parties who have overcome the passing barrier.
However, the final distribution of mandates should be declared the CEC of Moldova.
Recall: In Moldova’s elections pro -Russian regions gave a lower turnoutwhich allowed the party to get more.
Meanwhile, this country’s police reported detention of Transnistriars who prepared riots immediately after the election.
