The President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, during his arrival at the summit of the European Political Community in Budapest, ignored the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, who went out to meet him without greeting him.
This was reported by the Romanian publication Libertarea.
It shows that after getting out of the car, he stood with his back to Orban for about 15 seconds, without looking at him and adjusting his suit. All this time, the Hungarian Prime Minister stood motionless and at some point, seeing that Iohannis was late with the greeting, smiled awkwardly. After that, the Romanian leader went to shake Orban’s hand.
The summit of the European Political Community is being held in Budapest on November 7. In particular, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi arrived there, who also met with Orban. This was the first visit of a Ukrainian leader to Hungary since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia.
