Details: Earlier, the leader of the Romanian Romanian Party, George Simion, decided to challenge the results of the second round of the Romanian presidential election in the Constitutional Court.

That preceded:

  • On Sunday, when voters went to the polling stations for participation in the second round of the Romanian presidential election, Durov said that on the eve of the voting, the French government, including the head of French Foreign Intelligence Service, Nicola Lerner, asked him to ban his accounts related to Romanian.
  • Paris strongly denied Durov’s statement.
  • Simion earlier acknowledged his defeat in the elections and congratulated his opponent, the mayor of Bucharest Nikushra Dana. He explained on Tuesday that he did it to avoid bloodshed.
