“On the night of November 25, Ukrainian drones attacked an aircraft factory in Taganrog, Russia, destroying two rare experimental military aircraft A-60 and A-100LL, as confirmed by satellite images and official sources”, — write: www.radiosvoboda.org
The A-60 and A-100LL aircraft were in the parking lot of the Beriev TANTK aircraft plant, which was attacked by drones.
The impression of these planes was also confirmed by the commander of the SBS of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“There is expensive parking in the swamps in Taganrog. A-60 and Il-76 (this is the base aircraft for the A-100LL project – ed.). And in the hangar there is a bonus that will probably remain behind the scenes,” wrote Robert “Magyar” Brovdi in a telegram.
The pro-war Russian blogger Fighterbomber also confirmed the destruction of the A-60. He noted that the plane “last flew in 2016 and stood in the Kalash row for 10 years, because we didn’t have the money to dispose of it,” and now “the disposal issue has been resolved.”
A-100LL is a project that was supposed to be the next generation to replace the A-50 long-range radar tracking aircraft available in Russia. The number of such serviceable radar aircraft has dwindled since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Ukrainian drones massively attacked Taganrog on the night of November 25. According to local authorities, three people died.
