As a result of today’s Russian shelling in Donetsk region, one person was killed and five others were injured, the head of the regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, said.

“In the morning, the Russians shelled Grishina of the Pokrovsky community – a 78-year-old man died there. In Pokrovsk itself, two houses were damaged during the day,” he wrote in a telegram.

According to him, four people were injured, two houses, an administrative building, an infrastructure object and a car were damaged in Bilytskyi of the Dobropil community. Another person was injured in Kostyantynivka.

The Prosecutor General’s Office specifies that six people were injured. According to the investigation, Russian forces attacked Bilytskyi with aerial bombs, previously FAB-250 – four men suffered contusions, shrapnel wounds, explosive mine injuries and brain injuries. And in Kostyantynivka, as a result of barrel artillery attacks, two women were injured, and they were diagnosed with shrapnel wounds and mine-explosive injuries.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
