On the eve of the SESS, it was reported that the fire area in Mukachevo is about seven thousand square meters. The residents of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod districts were asked to close the windows and not go outside without urgent need.
Mayor Andriy Baloga subsequently specified that the Russian attack was conducted by a civilian plant for the production of Electronics Flex in Mukachevo, which provided the work of thousands of locals.
Transcarpathian Ova stated that the aforementioned plant is a strategic enterprise for Transcarpathia and only since the beginning of the year paid more than UAH 285 million of taxes that went to the development of the region.
According to Ova, 23 people were injured in Mukachevo as a result of a blow.
