They are in close proximity to each other. Petrochemical plant “SIBUR-Kstovo”, as indicated on the website, produces ethylene, propylene, benzene, as well as a number of hydrocarbon fractions. At the same time, the Ukrainian mass media wrote that he produces components for explosives. Also, according to the media, “LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez” is one of the leading refineries of the Russian Federation. It is important for providing the Moscow region, which accounts for about 30% of gasoline consumption in the country. Thus, gasoline from the Nizhny Novgorod Refinery was delivered to Moscow by pipeline. The installed capacity for primary oil processing is about 17 million tons per year.
