Details: On the night of January 2, explosions rang out over the city of Novokuibyshevsk in the Samara region, and a fire was noticed in one of the districts. Anti-aircraft missiles shot down several targets.

Local residents said they woke up to loud explosions around 1:30 a.m. More than 10 powerful explosions were heard in total. Eyewitnesses also report bright flashes in the sky.
