Drones attacked St. Petersburg: Pulkovo Airport stopped

Details: Due to the threat of Pulkovo Airport temporarily stopped operating, dozens of flights were detained. The region also warned about a possible slowdown in mobile Internet.

The governor of Leningrad region of the Russian Federation Alexander Drozdenko announced the destruction of one drone in the Tosnensky district. He later said that three more drones were knocked there, as well as one at a time in Kirisha and Gatchin.

Drozdenko urged residents of the region to refrain from staying near industrial zones, enterprises and in public because of a large number of drones in the airspace. He also reported that he ordered to transfer all units to a mode of increased readiness.

The governor of St. Petersburg Oleksandr Beglov announced the beating of the drone in the Pushkin district, clarifying that it had happened at a safe distance from residential buildings. He later confirmed the destruction of another drone in the Krasnosol district of St. Petersburg.
