Drone Strike on Bus in Eastern Ukraine Results in Casualties

A drone strike attributed to Russian forces targeted a passenger bus traveling from Kharkiv to Velykyi Burluk on the morning of March 13, resulting in one fatality and four injuries. The incident occurred around 09:15 near the village of Nova Oleksandrivka, according to Andriy Kanashiev, head of the Kupiansk District Military Administration.

Kanashiev reported that the drone used in the attack was likely of the ‘Lancet’ type. He stated, “As a result of the strike, the passenger bus was hit, leading to one death and four civilians sustaining injuries. The details and circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated.”

Earlier that night, Russian forces also targeted the city of Balakliia in the Kharkiv region, where strikes were confirmed to have hit residential areas.

A drone strike in eastern Ukraine has resulted in one death and several injuries, highlighting ongoing military actions in the region. Investigations into the incident are underway as tensions remain high.
