Analysis of vessel tracking revealed dozens of oil tankers that dropped anchor since the US announced a new package of sanctions (January 10) – against more than 180 vessels that delivered Russian oil; as well as sanctions against Russian oil-producing companies, in particular Gazprom Naftogaz and Surgutneftegaz.

At least 65 oil tankers dropped anchor in different places – writes Reuters.

5 of these tankers were stationed at Chinese ports;

7 dropped anchor near Singapore;

others stayed near the Russian Federation in the Baltic Sea and the Far East.
