““Ukrainian Pravda” in collaboration with the Ukrainian brand DAMIRLI presented a new merch collection called “Don’t take off”. It is dedicated to freedom of speech and society’s right to know the truth. The principles on which the work of independent journalism is based.”, — write: www.pravda.com.ua
We present black hoodies and stylish caps in several colors: red, black, blue, gray. And also with a leopard print, which can be associated with a “safari hunting” for corrupt officials.
The central inscription of the collection: “Do not remove”. It is this phrase that the journalists of “Ukrainian Pravda” often hear during their work. The ban is sounded at the moment when the camera captures something that someone is trying to hide in their own interests.

Journalists of the investigative department of the UP systematically experience obstacles to their professional activities and pressure. The head of the department, Mykhailo Tkach, became a victim in 12 criminal proceedings related to obstruction of journalistic activities. The latest attack on him occurred during the preparation of the investigation in Israel “How “Ukrainian Pravda” searched for and found Mindich and Zukerman in Israel”.
“We very often cover topics that many people try to keep quiet. And very often we hear in response: “don’t shoot”, – says the editor-in-chief of “Ukrainian Pravda“ Sevgil Musaeva. – But it is at this moment that we understand: the camera must work. Because if journalists are forbidden to film, then there is a truth that someone is afraid of. “Not shoot” is not just a sign on a hoodie. It is an almost daily attempt to silence us. And this is the line beyond which our journalism does not retreat.”
The “Don’t shoot” collection is a reminder of the weight, price and value of independent journalism, as well as an apt way to support the work of the UP investigative journalism department.
