In Donetsk region, “Ukrzaliznytsia” is temporarily restricting the movement of trains from the Kramatorsk direction to the borders of Kharkiv region, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, said.

“A difficult but important decision for the sake of saving lives was taken together with Ukrzaliznytsia – we are temporarily restricting the movement of trains in the Kramatorsk direction to the borders of the Kharkiv region. The decision is dictated by security factors,” he wrote in a telegram.

According to him, passengers of all 5 long-distance trains in the Kramatorsk direction receive detailed notifications about the final station in the “Ukrzaliznytsia” application directly on the day of departure.

Filashkin added that they are currently organizing bus shuttles between Kramatorsk-Slovyansk and the temporary terminal station.

“Ukrzaliznytsia” clarified that they are temporarily restricting trains in the Kramatorsk direction to Husarivka or Barvinkove stations. The restriction also applies to suburban traffic in the Donetsk region, in particular the connections Bantysheve – Kramatorsk and Slov’yansk – Raihorodok.
