According to the State Emergency Service, two people died in Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack: a man and a woman born in 1956 and 1959; 22 people were injured, including four children.
“Darnytskyi, Desnyanskyi, Dniprovskyi, Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi and Solomyanskyi districts of the city were under attack. At least 10 residential buildings were damaged. Currently, the elimination of the fire in the Dnipro district of the city is underway, the fire has been contained,” the message says.
According to the Air Force, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles at night.
According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the power sector was mainly hit, but there were also many hits to residential buildings, which caused fires in Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv. Kyiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhya, Cherkasy and Sumy regions were affected.
Four dead, including two children, were reported in the Kyiv Oblast in the Brovar district of the Kyiv region.
