Details: It is noted that employees of the DBR, under the procedural leadership of the Kiev Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in the field of defense of the Central Region, reported a new suspicion -in the absence of subordinates from the performance of military service in the commander of one of the military units of Kyiv region and presented suspicion of the updated content of the crime.

According to the investigation, the commander in violation of the established procedures sent a serviceman to a state body where he did not perform the duties of the service or the functions of the institution, they say in the DBR.
Instead, the activist, they say, spent time at his own discretion in the capital, moved the city in private affairs and attended catering establishments. At the same time he received financial support and thus unlawfully seized government funds for more than 224 thousand hryvnias.
In this regard, the commander was additionally accused of assisting the subordinate from the performance of military service, committed by prior conspiracy and abuse of office (Part 1 of Article 364, Part 5 of Article 27, Part 4 of Article 409 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

That preceded: The CPC reported that investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation on August 13 arrived at the scene of the Board of the Center for Anti -Corruption Vitaliy Shabunin in Kharkiv region to hand him a renewed suspicion.
Prehistory:
- On July 11, the DBR announced Shabunin of suspicion of evasion of military service and fraud.
- Shabunin called President Vladimir Zelensky after the searches and stated that he was taking “confident steps towards corruption authoritarianism.”
- On July 15, the Pechersk Court of Kiev elected Shabunin a preventive measure in the form of a personal obligation by August 20.
- More than half a hundred NGOs responded to the case against the chairman of the Center for Combating Corruption and called on Zelensky, as well as OGP leaders Ruslan Kravchenko and DBR Alexei Sukhachev to stop using a system of justice for political massacres.
