Details: According to the Coordinating Staff, the Russians mobilized 5,368 Ukrainians in Donetsk Oblast, 4,650 in Luhansk Oblast, 560 in Zaporizhia, and 478 in Kherson Oblast. 35,272 people were mobilized in Crimea, and another 5,368 in Sevastopol.
These mobilization data refer to the period from February 2022 to July 2025. They were obtained by Ukrainian military intelligence, and the Russian side confirmed them, Usov noted.
According to him, 16% of prisoners who are in Ukrainian POW camps are citizens of Ukraine, 6% of them are Crimeans.
Usov also said that legislative changes are planned to be introduced to the Verkhovna Rada, which will provide for the non-return to the Russian Federation of Ukrainians from temporarily occupied territories during exchanges.
“We have to make the right decision when there is a request from the Russian side for their exchange, because there is an exchange of Ukrainians for Ukrainians. We have to do everything so that they do not return to the Russian Federation, but remain in Ukraine,” the representative of the Coordinating Staff emphasized.
He added that domestic courts have already acquitted some Ukrainians who are in captivity on the territory of Ukraine. “And we are waiting for them to be released from the camps,” said the secretary of the Coordinating Staff.
