Details
As reported, in April 2023, the head of the department of one of the law enforcement agencies of the city of Dnipro began to complete the construction of his own two-story building. In order to save on construction, he used his subordinates. In particular, he promised them the continuation of the payment of wages and bonuses, while not going to work, as well as additional days off.
So while they were finishing up the detainee’s house, they were charged money without any reason. As a result, almost 700 thousand was spent from the budget. UAH
The head of the department, the deputy head of the department and five ordinary law enforcement officers are accused of seizing other people’s property through abuse of official position committed by an organized group under martial law (Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)
Also, the head of the department and the deputy head of the department of the same department have been indicted for entering knowingly false information into official documents by an official, committed by a group of persons based on a prior conspiracy (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
In accordance with these articles, punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to 12 years is provided.
