In the Shevchenkiv district of Kyiv, an administrative building, a business center and a store were partially destroyed as a result of massive ballistic shelling on the morning of Saturday, January 18. The main water pipeline was damaged, reports the State Emergency Service.

According to rescuers, three cars caught fire as a result of the shelling, the fire has already been extinguished. In total, at least ten cars were damaged.

A fire also broke out in one of the buildings, the fire was contained.

According to rescuers, three people died, three more were injured.

Around 5:50 a.m. on January 18, powerful explosions rang out in Kyiv — almost simultaneously with the announcement of an air alert. The Russians attacked the capital with ballistic missiles.

According to the KMVA, four people died as a result of the shelling. In the Shevchenkiv district of the city, the entrance to the Lukyanivska metro station was damaged, and it is currently temporarily closed for entry and exit, Mayor Vitaly Klychko said.
