Details: The Appeals Chamber left the preventive measure in the form of detention until January 16, 2026 with the possibility of bail of 51 million hryvnias. On November 19, Oleksiy Chernyshov was released from the pretrial detention center on bail.

What preceded:
According to the investigation, Chernyshov was among the visitors of the so-called laundromat, a place where money obtained through crime was legalized. This object was under the control of Timur Mindich, head of the kickback scheme at Energoatom.
Chernyshov himself denies his involvement in corruption around Energoatom.
On November 18, Chernyshov was sent to custody with the alternative of posting bail of UAH 51.6 million. Later, a bail in the amount of UAH 51.6 million was made for him.
