“These things move very well (…) We need to get help Ukraine as soon as possible. President Zelensky said they need five billion to have at least two million cartridges, ”said EU Defense Ministers in Warsaw Callas, quoted by Reuters.
“I am pleased to see that we already have different proposals or different countries come with our contribution, so we already have more than 50% of what we need,” she added.

EU leaders at Brussels Summit on March 20, at which the Ukrainian president asked to provide 5 billion euros for ammunition, decided to close the need of Ukraine for ammunition with the help of packages announced from different countries in the last month.
The Chief EU Callas Diplomat was also mentioned before the summit. She recently made a new defensive initiative for 40 billion euros for Ukraine, which has not yet found support.
