The official noted that China also seemed to reduce the supply of Western buyers of some components for drones, such as magnets used in engines, while increasing deliveries to Russia.
Manufacturers in China began to limit sales to the United States and Europe of key components, which the agency reported at the end of 2024, and Western officials consider it the first step to broader export restrictions.
In the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC, sent to the agency, official Beijing stated that it controls the export of so -called dual -use goods, such as drones, which can be used for military purposes: “China’s position on Ukraine was consistent and clear: we were devoted to the termination of the war and the sustaining of the war. China strongly opposes unfounded accusations and political manipulations. ”

Since then, the US and the EU have been sanctioned on several Chinese firms for helping Moscow in the production of drones and supplying critical components.
