The state loses billions of hryvnias through corruption schemes, in particular through the inefficient activities of the Agency for the search and management of assets. This body, according to the Accounting Chamber, not only inefficiently manages the arrested assets, but also promotes illegal operations with state property. This was stated by MP Alexei Goncharenko, reports UNN.

According to him, ARMA, which should work for the benefit of the state, actually brings huge losses and helps individuals. He recalled that the audit of the Accounting Chamber found numerous violations in the field of arrested assets.

“One of the most flashy cases -” Ukrnaftoburning “. The corporate rights of the ARMA company without evaluation and competition was transferred to the management of” Ukrnafta “on falsified grounds. Dividends were illegally paid to share. “They are not shareholders and had no right to dispose of this money,” Goncharenko said.

The People’s Deputy stressed that due to the inaction and dubious decisions of the agency, the state has already lost billions of hryvnias.

“And what do we now have?

Goncharenko stressed that instead of looking for internal reserves to cover some USAID funding funding, the state should stop spending billions of certain state structures.

“So when we are told that” you need to look for internal reserves “, it is worth asking: why instead of filling the budget, it continues to be robbed?” – Goncharenko sums up.

Recall

Recently, the ARMA Audit Audit for 2022-2023 and the first half of 2024, which showed significant problems in the management of arrested assets. In particular, the auditors emphasized the following problems: imperfection of the mechanisms of selection of managers and estimates of confiscated assets; incomplete data on assets in the register; Neregulated relationships between the ARMA and the prosecutor’s office and pre -trial investigation bodies.

Transparency International Ukraine noted that the “disappointing” conclusions of the Accounting Chamber as a result of the audit at the Agency for the Investigation and Management of Assets should be the basis for reforming this body.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Anti -Corruption Committee, Anastasia Radina, commenting on the account of the Accounting Chamber, stated that the management of arrested assets remains one of the biggest problems of the asset and management agency. According to her, during a full -scale war, the state could lose income from property management worth at least UAH 850 million.
