In this regard, Perebinis urged the Chinese side to take measures to stop Russia’s support in its aggression against Ukraine.
On April 17, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine became aware of the supply of China of military goods to Russia.

On April 18, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China criticized Zelensky on April 18, calling his words “unfounded.”
In July 2024, Zelensky announced the confirmation from Beijing that China would not supply Russian weapons.

China’s authorities say that it does not provide weapons to any of the parties of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, which calls the “Ukrainian crisis”. Beijing is criticized for refusing to condemn Moscow because of its full -scale invasion in February 2022 and for connections with the Russian Federation.
