Beating of a minor in Bila Tserkva: a 16-year-old boy was informed of suspicion

Law enforcement officers reported suspicion to a 16-year-old boy, who appears among other participants in the beating of a minor in the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region.

According to the press service of the local police, the suspicion was reported regarding the fact of torturing a minor and extorting money from her.

The other day, a video appeared on social networks with footage of a 12-year-old girl being beaten by a group of teenagers in Bila Tserkva. Investigators of the Kyiv region police established that the suspect and other minors gathered in a local park, where they invited the 12-year-old victim.

“Subsequently, in order to intimidate the girl, the suspect threatened and hit her on the head, after which he sprayed a gas canister in her face. At the same time as the physical assault, the person involved put psychological pressure on the victim and demanded money in the amount of 15 thousand hryvnias from her,” the report says.

The police add that the police of Kyiv Region are investigating criminal proceedings against three more minors under Art. 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – intentional slight bodily injury.

Earlier, the juvenile police reported on the investigation into the beating of a 12-year-old girl in Bila Tserkva. Her mother contacted the police, reporting that her daughter had been beaten by teenagers.

The law enforcement officers established that the bodily injuries were inflicted by three minors: the same age as the victim, 15-year-old and 16-year-old boys.
