As noted in the message, law enforcement officers are investigating a criminal case involving the beating of a serviceman in the city of Pershotravensk.
“The incident took place on August 14 near a supermarket on Nezalezhnosti Street in Pershotravensk. A group of people attacked a 24-year-old man and injured him. The victim was a military serviceman. It was established that a deputy of the Pershotravensk City Council was among the attackers,” the police report.
Criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism committed by a group of persons). All attackers have been identified. The assailants are threatened with restriction of liberty for a term of up to five years or deprivation of liberty for a term of up to four years. Investigations are ongoing.
