The man, according to the investigation, repeatedly committed psychological violence against the child, drove her out of the house in winter without outerwear, publicly humiliated and threatened to give to the orphanage.

On April 10, 2023, the child committed suicide. Forensic examination confirmed that death came from mechanical asphyxia as a result of hanging.
The prosecutor’s office says that no one has addressed law enforcement officers before being bullied. Some information managed to find out from the toxhow in which the offender participated.
The stepfather was presented with a suspicion of proving the suicide of a minor as a result of ill -treatment and systematic humiliation of its dignity (Part 3 of Article 120 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The pre -trial investigation is ongoing.
