The National Bank of Ukraine introduced a new commemorative coin “Bezbariernost” into circulation.
According to a message on the NBU website, the coin was presented by the Chairman of the National Bank Andriy Pishnyi during a community meeting “Business without barriers”, which was held with the participation of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska.
On the obverse of the coin, a stylized image of a bird with an artificial mechanical wing is placed in the center (prosthesis), which symbolizes freedom, indomitable spirit and the ability to overcome space without obstacles.
On the reverse side of the coin is a stylized image of various people united by a circle: parents, children, elderly people, people who use wheelchairs, people with prosthetics, and owners of animals. This composition symbolizes diversity and barrier-freeness, which emphasizes the unity and inclusiveness of society.
Commemorative coin “Barrierlessness” has a denomination of 5 hryvnias and is made of nickel silver. Circulation – up to 30,000 pieces in souvenir packaging.
