The military died on the front and The clergyman of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine Vitaliy Yankovsky.

This was reported by Volyn Orthodox Theological Theological academy and Volyn Diocese PCC.

Vitaliy Yankovsky was born in Kazakhstan in a family of Ukrainians from Volyn. Later, the family moved to Kurschyna, where the future clergyman joined the Seminary. He later transferred to his studies at the Volyn Seminary.

In one of the interview he said: “I am a Ukrainian soul, my roots here, as well as the graves of grandfather-greats.”

Vitaliy Yankovsky graduated from the Lviv Theological Academy. In 1996, Metropolitan Lutsk and Volynskyi Jacob ordained him on a priest.

After that, Father Vitaliy served in the Holy Trinity Cathedral (Lutsk), was a teacher of seminary, a priest of his sisterhood in the lower temple, the director of the Sunday school.

In total, more than ten years the clergyman was a clergyman of the Diocese of Volyn.

“Co -arms and parishioners remember him as a humble, conscientious, intelligent, talented pastor who possessed a ringing voice and delivered an inspired sermon. Awarded a number of church awards”, – noted in the diocese.

In 2023, Father Vitaliy Vodovov and voluntarily joined the army. On September 30, it became known that the defender was killed.

The funeral will take place on October 3 in Rivne.
