A new video of a fire made from a car passing on the road has placed the Crimean Wind Telegram. It shows the flames and smoke clubs over one of the large tanks of the terminal.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine attacked the Feodosia oil depot in occupied Crimea on the night of October 5 to October 6.
After the explosions, a fire broke out at the facility, the flames gradually swept new tanks of the terminal, and the cloud of black smoke and burning the city. According to a local activist, theodosius began to leave tourists and townspeople.
“The situation is very serious, but the local authorities are silent and do not take steps to work with the population on this problem,” – said the activist of Radio Liberty Crimea project.
The oil terminal in Feodosia has previously been undergoing Ukrainian attacks – in particular, the Armed Forces attacked the oil depot on the night of October 7, 2024. The fire at the Feodosia oil depot then lasted for more than a week.
The terminal is the largest in the Crimea, with a capacity of 12 million tons of petroleum products per year and capacities for simultaneous storage of 250 thousand tons of products.
After the commencement of a full -scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, Russian regions, as well as occupied Russian territories, regularly undergo shelling and attacks of drones. The Ukrainian side does not comment on such strikes every time, but regularly emphasizes that it is working on the weakening of the rear bases of the Russian Army to reduce the offensive potential of the aggressor.
