On the night of January 14, drones attacked several Russian regions.
The governor of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin, said that “some industrial enterprise” was damaged as a result of the raid by Ukrainian drones.
“As a result of the UAV attack, there is damage to the industrial plant in Engels. Emergency and operational services are working in an intensified mode,” he wrote on social networks.
Busargin did not say which enterprise it is about. He also called the English oil depot, which was hit by drones a week ago, an “industrial enterprise”.
Local social media users write about a fire at an oil depot and/or oil refinery in Saratov, on the opposite bank of the Volga from Engels.
Also, in Engels, classes in schools were canceled on Tuesday due to a drone strike.
Meanwhile, it is reported that Ukrainian drones attacked the chemical plant “Orgsintez” in Kazan.

Among other things, the Russian Department of Civil Aviation announced the temporary closure of Penza and Ulyanovsk airports.
Ulyanovsk is located on the Volga between Saratov and Kazan, while Penza is 250 km southwest of Ulyanovsk and about 200 km north of Saratov. A little earlier, Rosaviatsia announced the resumption of flights at the airports of Kaluga and Tambov, which, together with the airports of Saratov and Kazan, were closed an hour earlier.
