“The district court in the state of Florida postponed until next September the trial of 58-year-old Ryan Rout, who is accused of attempting to attack Donald Trump at a golf club.”, — write: www.ukrinform.ua
“The trial of Ryan Raut will begin on September 8, instead of the previously scheduled date of February 10, 2025,” the message states.
The lawyers asked the judge to postpone the hearing until next December. They justified this by the fact that they needed more time to review the evidence and decide whether to build a defense of the defendant on the basis of his insanity.
Raut was said to be in possession of 17 mobile phones and many other electronic devices. He was previously convicted of federal crimes in North Carolina in December 2002 and in March 2010. In addition, the mass media spread information that the 58-year-old American was involved in hostilities in Ukraine, but the Ukrainian side denied this.
