In the course of one of the inspections, in particular, they found that the classic private university tried to bring about three thousand “graduate students” to EDEBO. The institution was licensed.
The Ministry of Education and Science also reported that about 15,000 graduate students are currently studying in Ukraine, and this number has stabilized.
“4600 are those postgraduate students who entered in 2025. For 2024 – 10 thousand postgraduate students of budget and contract forms”, – they say in the MES.
Some of the persons were previously deducted from the results of inspections, monitoring and university decisions.
At the same time, the introductory campaign in graduate school is still ongoing: this year 7 thousand budget areas have been allocated, so the number of graduate students will exceed 4600.
The Ministry of Education and Science also specified that the only state -owned postgraduate test, which was planned to be introduced to test knowledge from Ukrainian and foreign languages, has not yet been introduced.

Earlier in the Verkhovna Rada reported that 80% of graduate school entrants in 2025 were men.
