New reality: technological skills and strategic planning are capable of eliminating the quantitative advantage of the enemy. Ukrainian drones impressed 41 strategic enemy aircraft, destroying or damaging A-50, Tu-95, TU-22 m3 and Tu-160, at four Russian air tabies, as the Security Service of Ukraine reported. This operation has become one of the largest in the war with Russia, as 34% of strategic carriers of the Russian winged rockets were affected. The losses reached from $ 2 to $ 7 billion, according to various estimates. And it’s not just figures, it’s the price of their aggression, which they now pay and will pay.
Ukrainian narrative: courage, strategic success and fair protection. The terminology of success prevailed in the information field of Ukraine. The media consistently passed the operations of the operation by Ukrainian official channels and persons, in particular President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called it “absolutely brilliant”, “most long -range” and “justified”. Such a framing emphasizes Ukrainian subjectivity, ability and moral superiority.

Detailed descriptions of the method of deployment of drones (secretly transported in trucks, hidden in structures with remotely controlled roofs) were widely covered. This narrative emphasizes the ability of Ukraine to carry out complex, technologically advanced operations deeply on the enemy, opposing any perception of it as a recipient of Western assistance. The mention of drones with artificial intelligence further enhances it.
The truth is on our side. Zelensky’s statements have been reported by such editions as NDTV and Yahoo News that “Ukraine is protecting itself, and this is right – we do everything to make Russia need to end this war. Russia has started this war, Russia must finish it.” This explanation was also supported in The Atlantic Council: “Unlike Moscow’s attacks on the Ukrainian civilian population and infrastructure, Ukraine has not committed any war crime or violation of international law by destroying these Russian aircraft that are regularly used against civilians.”
Russian Answer: “Terrorist Act”, Decrease in losses, nuclear blackmail. Delegitimation of Ukraine’s actions. BBC News and Al Jazeera have consistently reported the characteristics provided by the Russian Defense Drone Stroke as a “terrorist act”. This frame is aimed at delegitimizing Ukrainian military action and depicting Russia as a victim of illegal aggression.
Nuclear rhetoric. Propaganda media like “Moscow Komsomolets” and bloggers with a millionth audience launched another card: nuclear blackmail. Like, TU-95 strokes are “provocation to the use of strategic weapons”. This is a standard Russian tactical reflex – to intimidate when you lose control.
The world heard Ukraine. Ukraine won an information moment. Despite the caution of the leading media (BBC, AP, CBS), it was the Ukrainian narrative who was first and most detailed. BBC News She submitted the headline “Ukraine Drones Strike Bombers Durying Majoor Attack in Russia” (“Ukrainian drones struck bombers during a large -scale attack in Russia” – ukr. The Washington Post She went even further, publishing the material with the headline “Ukraine Just Rewrote of the Rules of War” (“Ukraine has just rewrote the rules of war” – ukr.), emphasizing the turning point of the attack for the military doctrine. The exact figures, the names of the aircraft, the aircraft models and the details of the drone delivery method – this information allowed Ukraine to win the information sprint.
The dominant narrative in the international media (AR, Air Force, CBS, Al Jazeera, Reuters, etc.) was the connection of attack with the next day peace talks in Istanbul the next day. This caused assumptions about Ukraine’s motives: to have trump cards on the eve of negotiations.
It was reported that the United States was not warned of attack (AP, CBS, Axios). At the same time, US officials have recognized the sophistication of the operation without condemnation.

- The demonstration of force on the part of Ukraine attracts the attention of the world community.
The truth is that the world does not ignore power. And when Ukraine shows its ability to act decisively and effectively, it makes everyone a new look at our country, our struggle and our unbreakable will to win. And this is the most important conclusion from all this story. Our struggle is ongoing, and such victories give us faith and strength to move forward!
