At 4:09 p.m., the State Emergency Service reported that emergency and rescue operations are ongoing in the Dnipro, Darnytskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the capital. The rescuers carry out the analysis of rubble, the dismantling of emergency structures and the examination of damaged buildings.
RDA staffs are working on the ground to assist the population, KARS units, communal services are involved, and volunteer organizations have also joined. Heating stations have been deployed, field kitchens are working, and assistance is being provided to the victims.
What preceded: On the night of December 27, Russian troops en masse attacked Ukraine, using almost 500 UAVs and 40 missiles, including “Daggers”. According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the main target was Kyiv – its energy and civil infrastructure.
