Details: The Ukrainian company Fire Point, which gained popularity after the full-scale invasion of Russia, is actively working to strengthen its position in the international arena. As part of this strategy, an advisory board was created on November 12, which included former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

“This is a great honor for us,” commented the appointment of the chief technical director of the company, Iryna Terek.
According to her, the involvement of well-known international figures and the implementation of transparent corporate standards are part of the transformation of Fire Point into a large international company.
Fire Point is actively scaling production, building a new plant in Denmark to produce solid rocket propellants and plans to more than double its current production capacity, particularly for cruise missiles. The Danish government passed a special decision that allowed the construction of a plant in the city of Skridstrup, ignoring over 20 existing laws and regulatory acts.
However, the rapid “takeoff” of Fire Point is accompanied by close attention from Ukrainian law enforcement agencies. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) is investigating the company’s activities. According to Kyiv Independentdetectives are investigating whether Fire Point overstated the cost of components or the number of drones in contracts with the Department of Defense. In addition, the company is a key beneficiary of the so-called “Danish model” – a mechanism of direct financing of Ukrainian arms manufacturers by foreign governments.
The investigators’ attention was drawn to the company’s opaque ownership structure and its possible connections with Timur Mindich, a close friend and business partner of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. Mindich himself is involved in another major NABU investigation into possible embezzlement in the energy sector.
Denys Shtilerman claims to be the majority owner of the company, while the legally registered owner is Yehor Skalyga, a former film organizer, who, according to Shtilerman, owns only 2%. Stillerman confirmedwho met with Mindich several times, but denied any business ties with him or his involvement in the company.
“We decided that because we are becoming a large international company, we must ensure that the most transparent and best corporate standards are observed,” Terech said in a statement to the Associated Press.
She also said the company had commissioned an independent audit to refute the allegations.
Prehistory:
- In November 2023, Pompeo took office independent non-executive director of “Kyivstar” company.
