The higher anti-corruption court satisfied the lawsuit of the Ministry of Justice regarding the application of sanctions against the former Ukrainian TV presenter Yury Kot and confiscated his property.

Details: The decision was made at a meeting on December 25 in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Sanctions”.
Yurii Kot, who currently lives in Moscow, is known for his pro-Russian views and active cooperation with the Russian media, where he systematically spreads anti-Ukrainian propaganda. He is also a member of the anti-Ukrainian organizations “Immortal Regiment of Ukraine” and “Committee for the Rescue of Ukraine”.
According to the court’s decision, the following assets of Kota are subject to confiscation into state income: four plots of land in the Zhytomyr Region, three firearms, and a Skoda Octavia Elegance car. In addition, property rights to seven television projects are subject to confiscation.
The court also decided to collect 59% of the share in the authorized capital of “Zolota Fishka” LLC and the money placed in accounts in a commercial bank.
Literally: “The court’s decision can be appealed in the Appellate Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court within five days from the day of its announcement. The right to appeal is the right of the participants in the case and/or their representatives.”
