“Anna and Stas Zavertaylo entered this year’s list of UP 100 in the “Business” category – for the consistent and ethical development of their own business, which has become a recognizable part of the urban environment.”, — write: www.pravda.com.ua
The couple’s entrepreneurial journey began in 2008 with a network of coffee machines. Zavertaylo became one of the first in Kyiv to use high-quality arabica in such devices, and also organized a call center for customers.
Currently, their business is primarily known thanks to chains of bakeries and confectionery under the “Zavertailo” brand. The company has six establishments and its own production workshop in the center of Kyiv, created at the expense of private investments in the amount of more than $2 million.

The path of entrepreneurs included not only successes, but also difficult decisions – among them the experience of closing projects that turned out to be economically unjustified. However, it was these challenges that shaped the couple’s business sustainability.
A testament to the resilience of the Zavertails’ business was when one of their restaurants was damaged by a missile strike, but continued to operate despite this.
Today, the “Zavertaylo” brand is an example of a responsible small business that grows together with the city, preserving values, quality standards and a human face.
