On the evening of September 17, Russian troops launched attack UAVs into the territory of Ukraine: an air alert was declared in several regions.

Details: At 8:42 p.m., the Sumy region reported the threat of attack UAVs. At 20:45, the alarm spread to Kharkiv Oblast.
At 9:00 p.m., the military reported an unmanned aerial vehicle in Sumy Oblast heading for Poltava Oblast.
At 22:19, an air hazard was reported in Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions. There is also a BpLA on the border of the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.
At 22:50, an unmanned aerial vehicle was reported in the Sumy Oblast heading south, one in the north near the border with the Russian Federation; BpLA in Poltava region near Myrhorod and in the north in a southerly direction and “Shahedy” in Mykolaiv region heading west.
As of 23:12 it is known about:
- UAV in the Sumy region, south-western direction;
- a new group of UAVs in the north of the Kherson region in the southwest direction;
- BpLA in the center of Poltava Oblast, heading west;
- BpLA in the Mykolaiv region heading for Odesa.
At 11:16 p.m., a threat to Chernihiv Oblast was reported.
At 11:23 p.m., it became known that “Shakhed” crossed the border of Odesa and continues its movement in the direction of Lyubashivka.
At 23:34, the threat spread to Cherkasy.
At 23:38, it was reported that UAVs are moving on the border of Cherkasy region, in the direction of Kyiv region and in the north of Odesa region, heading for Vinnytsia region. An air alert was announced in Vinnytsia.
At 23:46, the threat of the use of attack UAVs was announced in Kyiv region.
At 00:03, the military updated the directions of the drones
- “Shahedy” in the west of Poltava Oblast, course to the east of Cherkasy Oblast!
- “Shahedy” in the north of Kharkiv Oblast, heading south!
- “Shahedy” in the east of the Kyiv region, moving in the direction of Bila Tserkva!
- the “Shakhediv” group in the east and west of Mykolaiv Oblast, course to the west!
- “Shahedy” in the north of the Odesa region, flying in the direction of the intersection of Vinnytsia and Kirovohrad regions!
At 00:16, the PS was informed about the threat of using attack UAVs in the Kirovohrad region.
At 00:23, the airmen updated the movement of the drones:
- BpLA in the Kyiv region, approaching Bila Tserkva, possible air defense work.
- BpLA from Kharkiv Oblast headed for Poltava Oblast.
- BpLA on the border of Mykolaiv and Odesa regions.
At 1:23, the military updated the directions of the drones:
- “Shakhediv” group in the Mykolayiv region. The course is north-west.
- BpLA on the border of the Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions.
- “Shakhedy” in Kirovohrad Oblast, course in the direction of Cherkasy Oblast.
- “Shahed” in Sumy Oblast. Western course.
At 1:41, the military reported the movement of “Shakhed” to Kropyvnytskyi. The rest of the attack UAVs are scattered across the Kirovohrad region.
At 2:00 it became known about “Shahedy” in the center of Kirovohrad Region, heading north!
Also, “Shahedy” was recorded in Cherkasy region, course to Smila and in the south course to Uman! Air defense work is possible.
At 2:38 it became known about “Shahedy” in the south of Kyiv region, heading north and drones on the border of Chernihiv and Poltava regions.
At 2:55 p.m., the PS reported about “Shakhed” in the direction of Kyiv, possible air defense operation.
