Details: According to G7 diplomats, the implementation of the ARMA reform adopted is “the key to an independent asset management system that will strengthen Ukraine’s anti -corruption efforts and ensure budget.”

The Verkhovna Rada on Wednesday as a whole adopted a law that provides for new requirements for the chairman of the ARMA, the procedure of selection with the participation of international experts, a transparent mechanism of asset management, control over the transfer of assets.
This document was approved by Parliament in the first reading on February 12. The government has previously projected the rapid adoption of the bill, emphasizing that it is necessary to fulfill the requirements of the European Union.
Recall that Ukraine, within the framework of Ukraine Facility plan, has undertaken to approve the ARMA reform law and strengthen its institutional capacity.
The adoption of the law was one of the conditions for unblocking financial assistance to Ukraine from the EU in the amount of UAH 600 million.
