Air Force: Russian troops launched 72 UAVs at night, disposed of 44

The Russian military on the night of August 1 attacked Ukraine with 72 shock drones such as Shahd and UAV-simulators of different types, the Air Force of the Armed Forces reported.

“According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, 44 enemy UAVs in the north, south, east and center of the country were shot down/supplied with air defense,” the statement said.

According to the military, 28 UAVs were recorded in nine locations, attacked frontal territories of Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk regions and Kyiv region.

Russian military regularly from various weapons – UAVs, missiles, booths, RSSUs – attacked Ukrainian regions.

The Russian leadership denies that during a full -scale war, the Russian army causes purposeful strikes in the civilian infrastructure of cities and villages of Ukraine, killing civilian populations and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful.
