“The government has already made the first decisions: the motion for the dismissal of two ministers, sanctions against those involved in NABU materials, as well as the restart of Energoatom – the removal of the management and the start of the audit of the company. We are preparing a comprehensive solution for all state-owned companies, including energy companies. We are conducting an audit and instructed the supervisory boards to check the state of work, especially in the area of procurement,” she wrote in a telegram.

On November 10, NABU announced the disclosure of the activities of a criminal organization, the main focus of which was “systematic obtaining of illegal benefits from Energoatom’s counterparties in the amount of 10% to 15% of the value of contracts.” NABU claims that funds were legalized through a back office in the center of Kyiv, through which about 100 million dollars passed. According to the investigation, the premises of this office “belonged to the family of former People’s Deputy and now Russian Senator Andrii Derkach, accused by NABU and SAP in other criminal proceedings.”
Among those involved in the case, in particular: former business partner of Volodymyr Zelenskyi for “Kvartal 95” Timur Mindych, who, according to law enforcement sources, left Ukraine, ex-Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko, whose resignation from the current position of Minister of Justice was initiated by the government, former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov. According to NABU, suspicions in the case were announced to eight persons, five were detained, some of whom the court has already chosen a preventive measure in the form of arrest with the possibility of posting bail.
In addition, the head of the government, Yuliya Svyridenko, announced that she submitted a petition to the parliament for the dismissal of the Minister of Energy, Svitlana Grynchuk.
NABU detective Oleksandr Abakumov said on the air of the “Ukrainian Pravda” program that during the investigation of this case, detectives “in different situations” recorded four Cabinet ministers. According to him, we are talking about officials from different periods, that is, they are not all four current ministers.
