- On the evening of November 17, after a series of incidents on the railways in Poland, the prosecutor’s office began an investigation into acts of sabotage of a terrorist nature, which were committed in the interests of foreign intelligence.
- The subject of the investigation is the damage between November 15 and 17 to the infrastructure of railway line No. 7 on the route Warsaw East – Dorogusk, including damage by explosives to the tracks in the vicinity of the village of Mika and damage to the tracks in the vicinity of the village of Golomb.
- The proceedings were initiated on the grounds of a crime punishable by life imprisonment.
- It should be noted that the section of the Warsaw-Lublin railway, which suffered as a result of sabotage, is of strategic importance for assistance to Ukraine.
- The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiga, admitted that Russia may be involved in sabotage incidents on the Polish railway, and offered Warsaw help with the investigation.
