More than 60% of Ukrainians continue to inform on the ZSU, and friends remain the main source of information about meetings.
As NV Business was informed by the Rakuten Viber press service, the Rakuten Viber team found out whether Ukrainians would donate to the Armed Forces and their friends who are serving. 64% of respondents continue to donate in 2025, another 26% help in other ways. Half of the respondents learn about the fees from friends and acquaintances.

The respondents also told where they learn about the fees. A similar survey was conducted in 2023 and 2024. More than 19,000 users participated in the survey on the official Rakuten Viber Ukraine channel in 2025.
The results of the survey showed that 64% of Ukrainians contribute to the armed forces: 42% of them do so from every paycheck. At the same time, every fourth respondent (26%) helps otherwise. Only 6% of respondents do not see the point in donations.
To the question “Will you donate to the Armed Forces and to your friends who are serving?” the answers were distributed as follows:
- Yes, regularly from each salary — 42% (44% at the end of 2024);
- I help in another way – 26% (27% at the end of 2024);
- Irregular, but after each shelling I turn anger into donations – 14% (as well as at the end of 2024);
- Of course, every day a little bit — 8% (5% at the end of 2024);
- I don’t see the point in this – 6% (as well as at the end of 2024);
- I serve in the Armed Forces – 4% (as well as at the end of 2024).
Viber also asked Ukrainians where they find out about the fees. Half of the respondents (50%) support gatherings of friends and acquaintances, learn from them. Another 14% of users learn from the news.
Answers to questions “Where do you most often find out about fees?” were distributed as follows:
- I support gatherings of friends and acquaintances, I learn from them – 50% (53% at the end of 2024);
- I learn from the news, through news channels that support the meetings — 14% (13% at the end of 2024);
- I learn from bloggers and influencers I follow — 12% (11% at the end of 2024);
- I follow large funds that are engaged in this – 5% (as well as at the end of 2024);
- I learn in a different way – 19% (as well as at the end of 2024).
Note: the research method is an anonymous online survey, n>19,000. The key age group is 34-45 years old, more than 50% of respondents are under the age of 45.
